Dialogues II was held in Accra, Ghana, and brought together designers and industry practitioners for an intimate evening of conversation and reflection within the city’s fashion ecosystem. Hosted at YAYAA Concept, the session was moderated by our chief curator Georgètte Dwomoh-Appiah alongside YAYAA Concept founder Nana Yaa Asare-Boadu.

The conversation unfolded as a shared exchange rather than a panel, creating space for honest dialogue around the realities of building in fashion today. Participants reflected on burnout, the limits of working in isolation, the kinds of support needed beyond funding, and the importance of collaboration in shaping a more sustainable industry.

The evening also served as an informal introduction of YAYAA Concept to the wider fashion community — positioning the space as a resource for connection, exchange, and future collaboration. Dialogue II reaffirmed the value of pausing, listening, and learning collectively as the industry continues to evolve.
